El Consejo de Administración de M2Gen supervisa la colaboración entre Moffitt y Merck & Co., Inc., con la cual se busca ampliar las tareas de investigación y biotecnología de Moffitt al mismo tiempo que se crean y comercializan los medios para prescribir y brindar atención oncológica personalizada. Mediante esta colaboración innovadora se está creando uno de los mayores biodepósitos de tejido y bases de datos relacionales del país, para combinar tecnología de caracterización molecular con la respuesta clínica y mejorar la prevención, el diagnóstico y el tratamiento del cáncer.
